The Pride in being an INDIAN

Every one has his own reason to be proud of an Indian. I have my own and am presenting here. 

Many say "Indian culture is the foremost of all", "India has a spiritual richness", "Indians are dominating all fields of sciences", "India is self-sufficient in agriculture and food production", "Indians are holding high positions in big MNCs" and so on. 

But How many know the real essence of being an Indian? The truth is each and every one of us have the DNAs of great saints and rishis who lived thousands of years ago. Those saints are the people who formulated the Vedas which is still accepted as the best way of life. The origination of the western psychology is purely based on their indepth study of the Vedas. There are many Motivational Theories in management, people talk about the laws of Attracting what you want, The power of mind, improving concentration and hundreds of topics having the same matter what Vedas taught, in different colored wrappers. 

Our Ancestor Rishis have already found and talked about the Universal concepts on matter what the Quantum Theories are talking now. They have already discovered the Planets and stars thousands of years before the telescope was invented. What made our ancestors so potential? 

They never searched things outside! They went deep within them and found out the true nature of existence. They found the entire universe within them. They found that each and every Human is a part of the Divine creation and is an embodiment of the same energy that governs this universe. 

We can be proud of having their DNA in us. In Hindu Dharma, normally in earlier days we introduce ourself by mentioning the "Gothra" or the group we belong to. Now-a-days this process is in little practice. We have to realize that we descend from a group of people who lived thousands of years before, who had the supreme consciousness of their own existence and that of the universe. If we all try now, we can be one like them. 

Many great masters have mentioned that the Indians can attain the highest state of consciousness much earlier than the people of other countries as we have that tendency in our DNA. If all Indians realize this and try to rediscover their true identity, we can be the light to the entire world in guiding the whole humanity in the path of Peace and Harmony. 

Our Universal Connection

Astrology is an ancient science used for various predictions, not only in the Indian subcontinent but in the ancient civilizations of Babylon, Mayans, Egyptian etc. It is true that, the human system has close relationship with that of the universe. A human is a microchip of the Universe. Our ancestors have studied planetary motions thousands of years before the invention of the telescope. How? They learned to see the entire universe with in themselves. 

They discovered basic things through their study:1. The Human body is closely related to the 5 basic elements, which constitute this earth. (Air, water, fire, earth and sky - Our body was assessed based on Vata, Pitta and kapha as representation of Air, Fire and Water, Earth representing the flesh of the body and Sky, the body energy). Balancing of all the elements leads to sound physical health. 2. Our Mind is related to the Planets and is influenced by the planetary positions and movements. By taking actions while planetary positions are favorable was an unwritten practice in those days. Still, it is a practice that worshiping suitable Gods relating to the planets. 3. Our Intellect is directly influenced by Stars. There are 27 stars in our constellation as per Indian Astrology, every day of the month having one influential star. Also there is a birth star for every individual, based on which his ability and intelligence was determined. 4. Our Soul directly belongs to the Universal center where the primordial power resides. So on any given time, every individual is in the influence of 5 principal elements, the planets, the stars and the Universal center. An enlightened person is the one, who traversed his own body, Mind and intellect to reach the Soul consciousness. Naturally, he becomes free from all elemental, planetary and star influences. His destiny lies within Him. So if every human elevates himself through spiritual practices, he becomes free from all influences and effects and no astrologer is needed.

Unleashing Universal Concept

Mind cannot exist independently and is always linked with the Soul. When a soul takes the birth, Mind becomes the integral part of Body, Mind and Soul complex. 

Talking about Universe, there existed a THING in the darkness before everything. That is the UNIVERSAL SOUL. It had its Mind, which generated thought to awaken and followed by Bang. All other things are as determined in Physics. 

From the Universal Soul came all the individual souls. Every Individual Soul is accompanied by its Mind which act as the carrier of impressions or karmas from one birth to the other. Soul itself is pure in nature and cannot contain any karmas or impressions, good or bad. These karmas are collected through experiences in various births. 

When an individual soul takes the body, it brings the Mind with karma, all along. As this body grows, the Mind further gains karmas in the particular birth through the experiences of life, good or bad. When the soul completes the physical lifetime and leaves the body, the Mind accompanies the soul but tries to maintain the relationship with the left physical body too, thus making the soul bonded to the birth death cycle. This Mind with desires and unfinished ambitions, makes the accompanied soul to take birth once again and birth-death cycle continues.

A self-awakened person realizes this truth. So in his life time, keep the Mind pure from impressions. He regularly cleanses his Mind through practices. He wards off the impressions from the Mind good or bad. When he completes his lifetime, the awakened soul leaves the body with impression free mind and escapes the Birth -death cycle. 

Thus the soul is the pure entity which is the essence of all living organisms and the universe itself and the Mind accompanying the Soul makes the real difference.


Peace
